“The holy nation of heaven is like a box of riches buried in a field. A man found it and then hid it again. In his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

I must give my whole life to Jesus.


Matthew 13: 47,48,49,50 The Picture- Story of the Fish Net
“The holy nation of heaven is like a big net which was let down into the sea. It gathered fish of every king. When it was full, they took it to shore. They sat down and put the good fish in to palls. They threw the bad fish. It will be like this in the end of world. Angels will come and take the sinful people from among those who are right with God. They will put the sinful people into stove of fire where there will be loud crying and grinding of teeth.


When Jesus comes, He will fetch only the people who believe in Jesus.
The other people will be burned and it will hurt.

Matthew 13: 23

The seed which fell on good ground is like one who hears the word and understands it. He gives much grain. Some seed gives one hundred times as much grain. Some gives sixty times as much.
I must understand Jesus word.
I must be obedient.
I must grow in my relationship with God.
Then I will bear fruit like love, kindness, patience, forgiveness.

Matthew 13: 30
Let them grow together until the time to gather the grain. Then I will say to the workmen, ”Gather the weeds first and put them together to be burned. Then gather the good grain into my building “’”( heaven)


On the day of judgment when Jesus comes back, He will fetch only people who believe in Jesus.

A lot of work to be done

Matthew 9: 37-38
Then He said to the followers,” There is much grain ready to gather. But the workmen are few. Pray then to the Lord who is the Owner of the grain fields that He will send work-men to gather His grain.”

The grain is people who don’t know Jesus.
We must pray for God and ask Him to send Missionaries to tell people about Jesus.

“If you want joy in your life and have happy days, keep your tongue from saying bad things and your lips from talking bad about others (telling lies). Turn away from what is sinful. Do what is good. Look for peace and go after it. The Lord watches over those who are right with Him. He hears their prayers…”

I must not tell lies, then I will be happy and God will hear my prayers.

Two blind men followed Him…. “Do you have faith that Men.I can do this?” They said to Him “Yes sir! “ Then Jesus put His hands no their eyes and said, “You will have what you want because you have faith.” Their eyes were opened.

Jesus is God.
He can do miracles.
I must have faith.
I must believe in God.
I must have a relationship with God.

That evening they brought to Jesus many people who had demons in them. The demons were put out when Jesus spoke to them. All the sick people were healed.

Jesus can heal all the sick people.
Demons are a afraid of Jesus.

Our New Lives come from a very special seed

Peter 1:23 The Live Word
You have been given a new birth. It was from a seed that cannot die. This new life is from the word of God which lives forever.

John 1:1 Christ lived before The World was made
The word (Christ) was in the beginning. The word was with God. The word was God.

If you plant mealies, you will see mealies grow up.
The seed our new life comes from is Jesus. If we believe everybody will see in us it was Jesus. Our lives must reflect the word of God (Jesus), the same way mirrors reflect our faces.

Jesus Teaches about Others

“Do for other people whatever you would like to have them do for you. This is what the Jewish Law and the early preachers said.

You must be kind to people if you want them to be kind to you.

Jesus Teaches about Prayer

Matthew 7:7 “Ask and what you are asking for will be given to you. Look and what you are looking for you will find.

James 5:13 The Power Of Prayer in Healing
Is anyone among you suffering? He should pray. Is anyone happy? He should sing songs of thanks to God. The prayer from the hearts of a man right with God has much power.

I must believe in God.
I must pray to God.
When I am happy, I must thank God.
I must have a relationship with God.
God always listens.

Matthew 6:6 Jesus Teaches about Prayer

When you pray go into a room by yourself. After you have shut the door, pray to your Father Who is in secret. They your Father Who sees in secret will reward you.
I must have a private relationship with God

Matthew 5: 16 Jesus Teaches about light
Let your light shine in front of men. Then they will see the good things you do and will honor your Father, who is in heaven.

Jesus is the light and His light must shine through us: we must be like Him. We must be happy and full of love and forgiveness.

Today Easter

Easter is the celebration of the new life…………….we got through Christ.
On cross……………………….. we think about the day He died on the cross to save us.
We have all sinned and would not have been able to go to heaven, if Christ did not die for us: in other words, Jesus was punished for our sins…………. instead of us……………
He was nailed to the cross and He suffered terrible on the cross…………………. He did get cross at the people who crucified Him: He asked God to forgive them because they do not do not know what they are doing …………………………………………………………

On Easter Sunday we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. He had died but on the 3rd day He rose again out of the grave ………………. Mary was the first one to see Him again. He also appeared to His fridnds ……………………….

Matthew 5: 39,42 Jesus talk about Fighting and Giving

But I tell you, do not fight with the man who wants to fight.
Give to any person who asks you for something. Do not say no to the man who wants to use something of yours.

• I am must not fight back.
• The Holy Spirit will tell me when to give I must obey Him.

Matthew 5:33,37 Jesus Teaches about what to Say

You must not make a promise you cannot keep… Let your yes be YES let your no be NO

I am not God.
Our plans depend on His willingness.
I must not say yes when I mean no, i.e. I must always tell the truth.

But I tell you that whoever is angry with his brother will be guilty and have to suffer for his wrong-doing. will have to stand in front of the court of heaven.

If I am angry I must make right what is wrong benteen me and him and ask forgiveness.

If I Keep God's Laws, I will be called great

God’s Ten Great Laws
1. There can be no other Gods, you are the only God.
2. I shall never hurt / kill another, but show my love to all.
3. I shall have no other gods, but worship you alone.
4. I shall be a faithful wife if I marry one day.
5. I shall not misuse your name, but keep it special for you.
6. I shall never steal or cheat, but leave other people’s things.
7. I shall always rest on Sundays, it is your special day
8. I shall never tell a lie, but always tell the truth.
9. I shall always honour my parents, then I shall be blessed..
10. I shall never envy others, I’m happy with what I‘ve got.

Matthew 5:19
He, who obeys and teaches others to obey what the Law of Moses says, will be called great in the holy nation of heaven.

People who obey the law will get a “star “and a “ merit “ in heaven.

Jesus teaches us to be happy: Matthew 5:3,4 5, 6,7,9

“Those who know there is nothing good in themselves are happy……..
Those who have sorrow are happy….
Those who have no pride in their hearts are happy….
Those who are hungry and thirsty to be right with God are happy,
Those who show loving- kindness shown to them are happy….
Those who make peace are happy……”
Those who suffer because they do the right thing happy...
Those who are persecuted believe in me happy..."

Jesus can heal
Matthew 4 :23
Jesus healed all kinds of sickness and disease among the people.
Psalm 6:2 Prayer for help
Be kind to me, O Lord, because I am weak, O Lord, heal me for my bones are shaken. My soul is in great suffering.
Jesus can heal anything, including me, but I must ask.
Jesus heals me, because He loves me.
Jesus healed people to show that He was God.

Fishing for Jesus

Matthew 4:19-20
They were putting a net into the sea for they were fisherman. Jesus said to them, “Follow me. I will make you fish for men!” At once they left their net and followed Him.

I must follow Jesus.
I must obey Him at once.
I must teach other people about Jesus, so that they become His disciples.

Matthew 3:2-10
Be sorry for your sins and turn from them! The holy nation heaven is near,”
Every tree that does not give good fruit is cut down thrown into the fire.

I must repent, before it is too late.


Love: Corinthians 13: 3,4,5,6,7
If I give all I possess to the poor but have not love, Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast it is not self
seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

Obedience: Matthew 3:15,17
We should do what is right.” John agreed and baptized Jesus.
A voice was heard from heaven. It said, “This is My much-love Son. I am very happy with Him.”

Jesus wanted to show that He was a man and it was right for John to baptize people. Jesus is also God. We must also be obedient.

An angel of the Lord came to Joseph in a dream. He said, “ Get up. Take the young Child and His mother to …Egypt. Go as fast as you can…. During the night He got up and left with the young Child and His mother for Egypt.


I must also listen to God.
